DVM Hanne Frenkel

The practice Physiovet Vaud is run by Hanne Frenkel, veterinarian and FSPA-qualified physiotherapist.

Born in Heidelberg, Germany, I grew up in the company of animals (cats, dogs, horses, goats and chickens).

Having lived in Malawi for five years of my childhood, I developed a strong bond with nature and its creatures, which inspired me to become a veterinarian. I completed my veterinary degree at the University of Munich (LMU) in 2002.

In 2011, I began my specialisation to train as an animal physiotherapist at the Swiss Federation of Physiotherapy for animals (FSPA), from which I obtained my federal diploma in 2013.

After working in an equine clinic and in MRI research until 2013, I decided to develop my passion for animal physiotherapy by making it my profession.

Tessa offers you her skills as an osteopath
Osteopathy is a discipline that supports well-being, recovery and general health of your animal.
This gentle medicine helps to improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent musculoskeletal imbalances, so it is a great accompaniment to physiotherapy in order to improve the success of the therapy.
Animals of all ages can benefit from osteopathy
